This is a letter of recommendation for Dan Roesch. He was employed by Reliant Studios July 2013 through March 2016. During that time he exhibited many strengths as a member of our team and I wanted to outline a few of them.
Creativity
Dan is one of the most creative people I know. His passion and skills in being creative outlines much of how he approaches life and work. He is always seeking to tell stories or produce videos in a unique way. He is very quick to generate many ideas on how to approach a project. On a related note, he also has a very deep understanding of how things work and what drives people to action.
Service
One of Dan’s most defining characteristics is his heart to serve others. During his time at Reliant, Dan continually sought to serve both his fellow employees and our clients. If an employee ever struggled with anything, Dan would quickly set aside his own agenda in order to serve that employee. The same mindset followed through to clients. Dan demonstrated a wholehearted commitment to serving our clients well. It was his desire to make sure that they were well-pleased with the end product. If Dan sensed anything but complete satisfaction, he would work hard to go above and beyond in changing the outcome to a positive one.
Teaching
During Dan’s time at Reliant, I watched him come alive when he had the ability to teach others. He impacted his team members by holding weekly editor training sessions. He stepped up and took on an informal role as post-production supervisor. The editors looked to him for guidance and leadership in growing their own overall skills as well as getting feedback with each project. Dan also spoke with us at a number of conferences. He is very comfortable teaching a large group of people. It was a privilege to watch people come alive and make a shift from “attending a presentation” to “learning something new” when it was Dan’s turn to speak.
Dan is also very technically skilled. He provided tech support to our team with both video and computer equipment. These skills along with his depth of understanding and passion will lend themselves as assets to any company.
Sincerely,
Mike Sukraw | CEO/Executive Producer | Reliant Studios

It is my privilege to recommend to you Dan Roesch for any position related to video and creative development. I have known Dan both personally and professionally for nearly 16 years.
Professionally, I believe that Dan possesses a true gift for using the medium of video to capture a person’s story as well as to present many different types of information in a compelling way. Dan has an eye and mind to think beyond the basics to what the viewer will see and experience. That gift enables him to create video material that far exceeds the typical content generated by many. Dan is also very good at working with the subjects of any given video project. His natural manner and personable nature enable him to set people at ease and help them to feel comfortable on camera. His editing skills also give him the ability to see what is essential and compelling and what needs to be on the cutting room floor. I hold a Bachelor of Journalism degree having majored in Broadcast Journalism so video production has always been an area of interest for me. I have seen some who are really good at the trade and others who just don’t seem to “have it” in this area. I truly believe that Dan is excellent at his craft and would be a tremendous asset to any company seeking to produce quality video content.
Personally, I have had the joy of watching Dan grow tremendously over the years. When I first met Dan, he was a young college student and, like most students, he had plenty of room for growth. But I have watched Dan grow as a person in countless ways. His level of maturity and responsibility is very high. His integrity is also impeccable. He is very committed to do the right thing and has a strong passion to be excellent at work and in life. I truly believe he would be a great asset as an employee. Dan also truly cares about people and would be a great addition to any team. He has been not only an effective coworker over the years but also a true encourager to those around him. It would be hard to imagine a scenario where a company wouldn’t be really glad to have Dan “on the team” and a part of creating a great culture. He is teachable and leadable while also being committed to taking responsibility for his own growth both personally and professionally.
I would highly recommend him for your consideration both for his professional abilities and the asset he would be to any company or organization. I genuinely believe you will be glad to have him on your team.
Sincerely,
Jeff P Petersen | Directional Pastor of Operations | Lincoln Berean Church
